From Health Scares to Yoga to Weightlifting: My Path to Wellness
I’m a German expat currently living in England, and my journey began at age 21 with a personal health scare that changed my perspective. It was the first of many wake-up calls begging for my attention. In the years after, witnessing loved ones fight and ultimately lose against illness added a layer of urgency to my life. It was during this time that I truly understood the importance of balance, but still didn‘t know how to get there.
As a yoga teacher, I found solace in the flow of poses and the serenity it brought to my life. But I didn't stop there. I asked for professional help to understand and let go of my trauma. I embraced the power of running, the thrill of weightlifting, and the joy of movement in all its forms. My passion, and most importantly, my love for feeling fit, strong and agile, led me to explore various aspects of health and wellness.
Life demanded (and still does) a harmony between my physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It’s a lifelong adventure and can be quite challenging at times.
